Victoria Barracks is a functioning military barracks and is located on Oxford Street in Paddington. On the evening of the Ball, access to Victoria Barracks will be restricted to guests of the Spring Ball and those who reside on the grounds of the barracks only.
Vehicle Access Military guests who are driving to Victoria Barracks and wish to enter the base via the vehicle entrance off Moore Park Road require ADF identification and MUST also be in possession of a Spring Ball Ticket. Only residents of the Barracks will be able to access the base without a ticket.
Civilian guests who wish to drive to Victoria barracks and enter the base via the vehicle entrance off Moore Park Road will be required to provide their Drivers Licence (or other government issued photo identification), their Spring Ball Ticket and MUST be accompanied by a military member who is in possession of a valid ADF identification card before being allowed access. Please note that all occupants of a vehicle must adhere to the relevant identification requirements or access to the Barracks is unable to be granted.
The Vehicle access gate will be open from 6pm.
Pedestrian Access Military guests entering on foot may use either the Moore Park Road or Oxford Street pedestrian access gates and will require ADF identification and MUST be in possession of a Spring Ball Ticket.
Civilian guests entering on foot may use either the Moore Park Road or Oxford Street pedestrian access gates and will require their Driver's Licence (or other government issued photo identification), their Spring Ball Ticket (electronic or paper) and MUST be accompanied by a military member who is in possession of a valid ADF identification card before being allowed access.
Both pedestrian access gates will be open from 6pm.
Please be aware, guests who lack the required identification will be directed to the Guard Room on Moore Park Road for identity verification purposes. As an operating military barracks, please be advised that access CANNOT be granted to guests who do not meet the identification requirements.
