The Victoria Barracks Spring Ball is a Mess Dress (Winter/Service Equivalent) or Black Tie/Evening Gown event.
It is highly encouraged and strongly preferred [ie. expected] that military members wear their Service specific Mess-Dress. However, it is acknowledged that some individuals may want to branch-out into Black-Tie / Evening Dresses for the occasion; therefore, military members choosing not to wear Mess-Dress will be asked to provide a small cash donation (of your choosing) on arrival, which will go to a veterans charity.
Note: bare midriffs or short hem lines are not appropriate. It is a classy affair after all!
